Robert Pattinson haircuts get their name from a movie actor going by the same name: Robert Pattinson; who has starred in the movie ‘Twilight.’ These are haircuts that have come to be adopted by hordes of people, mostly young – but also a few of the young at heart.

It really isn’t that Robert-Pattinson is the one who came up with the haircuts that have come to be associated with him; for these were there, in various forms, well before him. Rather, it is Robert-Pattinson who has come to be seen as the ‘public face’ of these haircuts, in the process ending up being the person whose name ended up being given to the series of haircuts.

While there are various specific haircuts that may qualify to be termed as being among Robert Pattinson haircuts, the one thing they all have in common is this tendency to make the person wearing them come across as rather ‘stylish;’ for that is the tag with which Robert-Pattinson is associated.

What is worth noting, with regard to the term ‘Robert-Pattinson Haircuts’ is that it is a term that refers to a series of unique haircuts that Robert Pattinson was seen with in the duration when he acted the Twilight, and the period thereafter. The beauty of Robert-Pattinson haircuts (the original ones, characterized by medium sized hair, worked into luxurious locks) is that they are not really ‘face-shape specific.’ Whatever the shape of your face – where it be the oblong variety, the ovalish variety, the squarish variety…and pretty much anything else, you can wear Robert Pattinson haircuts – and look good in them. In the same spirit, Robert-Pattinson haircuts are not really very hair-type specific. Thus, whether you hair is thinning or of medium thickness, you can still wear them – and look good in them. Of course, if your hair is too thick, you may have a bit of a problem with Pattinson haircuts (as they may not hold too well), but all in all, that wouldn’t mean that you absolutely cannot get the haircuts.

The basic characteristic of Robert Pattinson haircuts is that the hair is crafted in such a way that the hair on the sides of the head ends up shorter than the hair on the top of the hair. Of course, for that to work, you do need medium sized hair. After you attain the requisite cut, getting the desirous ‘shabby look’ becomes just a question of applying styling gel, and then blow drying the hair at; at a low setting.

You must probably heard about it, from the news on the television or to the mob of teenagers wearing the “I love TWILIGHT” t-shirts outside the bookshop where Stephenie Meyer held her book-signing. The new phenomenon right after Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings took the whole world like wildfire. TWILIGHT, which was a novel about a vampire who fell in love with the girl he ever so wanted to kill. It was written by Stephenie Meyer from Phoenix Arizona, who received instant and unbelievable fame and fortune after the hit of her novel. After the release of her books, the movie was made, starring Kristen Stewart as the main female name Bella Swan with Robert Pattinson as the vampire, Edward Cullen.

To those who have read the series, they would probably say that this is just one of those boring vampire books that are being released every now and then all around the world. But this is something far from ordinary; different because no one had probably wrote something about a vampire, though fighting the urge of killing her, still fell in love with a frail and warm-blooded human. Despite all the trials, challenges and holding back (they can’t even kiss properly because Edward might be overwhelmed and kill Bella in one move), their love prevailed in the end, at the last book entitled “Breaking Dawn”.

Twilight had swept fans off their feet with this story of unconditional love with a happy ending. From grade school girls up to their mothers, all had their noses buried to these four books created by Meyer. Mrs. Rita Johnson (a mother of two and works as an Elisa Kit Manufacturer) posted on one of the fan forums that she loved Twilight because it brought her out from reality into the mystical realm of vampires. It was totally addicting to some of the teenagers who became instant avid fan girls, collecting the books, the movies, from shirts to notebooks to collector items stuffs.

Even the schools adapted TWILIGHT on their vampire-themed proms. During the past Halloween, almost everyone dressed as Dracula or just used too much powder on their faces to emphasize the pale complexions of the vampires on Meyer’s books. Twilight Saga might be another Harry Potter phenomenon, struck the world in one snap, and might disappear in a flash of light as well (or most probably after the fourth movie was done). But still, right now, Twilight inspired teenagers about love and life and how to realize its importance (well, Edward always refuse to change Bella into a vampire too because he values her humanity and wouldn’t want her to lose her life. He doesn’t want Bella to suffer an eternity with him and just gave in on the last book of the series. Just turned out the Bella was perfect to be a vampire so I could say that all the arguing and rejections on the first three books was crap). But really, two thumbs up for Meyer’s books!

The sight of Zac Efron fully clothed in the High School Musical franchise is already enough to make a dozen of fan girls swoon with delight. Robert Pattinson doing his magic on screen whether as a Volvo-riding vampire or a broom-toting Quiddith player is readily considered by womankind as an ultimate symbol of male perfection. What more if these teen idols go shirtless on screen?

Let’s face it – the greatest way to get a girl’s attention is a man’s rippled abs, beautifully formed biceps and smooth chest especially when these belong to drop dead gorgeous shirtless teen idols. They may look like the innocent and prude boys you can take home to mom, but underneath those shirts hide perfectly sculpted muscles that can rival those of Greek gods statues.

Aside from the fact that they can be used to repopulate the world during human extinction because of their amazing genetic structures, these teen idols offer something more than their looks – TALENT. Not only are they ultimate eye candies to women, they can also act, sing, and become truly avante garde. These teen idols are the total package. Take for instance the hottest heartthrob of 2008, Robert Pattinson. He is good looking and all, but it’s this natural acting talent and the drive to make good movies that got him the roles of a lifetime like Cedric Diggory and recently, Edward Cullen. His appeal and acting skills are perfect for mainstream and independent films. This is why he always gets the best of both worlds in terms of movie roles. One time, he is a hunk sweeping Bella off her feet, the next he becomes the prodigious painter, Salvador Dali.

Another shirtless teen idols considered more phenomenal than their beautiful bare chest are the Jonas Brothers. Composed of Kevin, Joe and Nick, the trio has been around Hollywood since they were six years old. Through the years, fans have seen them mature into gorgeous young men. Their music and acting projects propelled their career into worldwide superstardom. Because of this, female fans are now fixated on every merchandise that has something Jonas on it.

Being a super hunk in Hollywood might not be as dandy as it sounds. At a very young age, these teen idols have already been thrown into the crazy world of popularity and fame. Girls are swarming around them, everybody’s telling them how successful they could get, and then there is the squeaky clean image that they need to maintain. Most often than not, they could only go shirtless on films and photo shoots to uphold the wholesome reputation they project. They may not be able to fully enjoy the joys of being young, hot and loaded because paparazzi hound them wherever they go. When they are on the beach, these shirtless teen idols are photographed and almost everything about them is talked about. This is the price of fame.

The Twilight Saga – Eclipse – A Review of the First Trailer

The first trailer for the third film in the series of Twilight Saga movies based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling books is here! This first trailer gives us our first glimpse of scenes from the highly anticipated movie, which is opening this summer, not even a year since New Moon, the second film, was released. New Moon was a huge hit with fans on every continent, but will that mania carry over for the release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse?

So after viewing it, how does the Twilight Saga: Eclipse trailer look? Well, it’s hard to say. It’s clear to see that Summit are yet to complete much of the film’s look, which is why the trailer looks like an advert for a soap opera (well, I suppose it is, really), with only one or two finished effects shots shown.

This initial trailer for the Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie doesn’t really instil much hope that this third film is going to be a better made piece of entertainment, but we do live in hope. The performances from Taylor Lautner as Jacob and Robert Pattinson as Edward seem just as wooden as before, but the trailer is still causing paroxisms of delight in the Twilight fan community.

Personally, I think a shorter trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse would have been more effective, as this feels rather padded thanks to the lack of set piece shots, or anything much in particular. It would seem that Kristen Stewart is really finding her feet as an actress now, as her Bella seems to be the only believable character on screen in these things. It’s going to be interesting to watch where her career goes next after the Twilight movies (I can’t wait to see her in the Runaways biopic- that looks awesome).

I am sure that subsequent trailers for this film will be much more exciting to many people, as there will hiopefull be some completed fx shots and some more action. As it is, it feels like a mid-week soap opera advert with some very, very mediocre cinematography and characters that seem able to emote solely by means of their hair (Or indeed by whether or not they’ve got a shirt on). Still, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is sure to be a huge hit, but the question remains: How the heck is gory, twisted and extremely graphic story of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn going to make it to the screen? Time will tell.

Stephenie Meyer – A Woman Who Created Vampires in Forks

Nowadays, people in the entire world know well who are Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. They know very well who of them is human and who of them is vampire. However, when people are asked about Stephenie Meyer, they might just answer that she is the author of The Twilight Saga. They might not know a lot about her career and her achievements in writings. For that reason, this article gives you a brief biography of Stephenie Meyer, a woman who created vampires in Forks.

Stephenie Meyer was born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1973 but she was settled in Phoenix in her age of four with her family. She attended Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. Then, she continued her study to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and received her B.A in English in 1997. She had never written a story before she wrote Twilight and even started to consider taking law school. However, the birth of Gabe, her oldest son changed her mind because she just wanted to be her mother.

Before she decided to be an author, she was working as a receptionist in a property company. However, her life then totally changed on 2003. She decided to write something, something that she had not done in a long time and that surprisingly bothered her. She began to think about the plot of the first book of The Twilight Saga Series.

It is quite interesting that she invented the idea of the plot during the day through swim lessons and potty training. Then, she wrote it into words and sentences in the late of the night when her house is pretty quiet, and amazingly she finished the first book, Twilight, in three months only. This book then reached its success in 2005.

Started from this year, she delivered the second book, New Moon, in September 2006 and the third book, Eclipse in 2007. In May 2008, she delivered her other novel, The Host, in the market and still in the list of bestseller more than a year after its debut. Then, the final book of the Twilight Saga was released at 12:01 midnight on August 2, 2008.

The Twilight Saga became more and more famous when Twilight the movie was released on November 21, 2008. It was directed by Catherine Hardwicke and starring Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan. Then, New Moon was released on November 16, 2009 in USA, and Eclipse also will be released on June 30, 2010.

Although she could be considered as a new American author, Meyer has achieved a lot of awards. They are A Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year, An Amazon.com Best Book of the Decade…So Far, A Teen People Hot List pick, as well as An American Library Association Top Ten Best Book for Young Adults and Top Ten Books for Reluctant Readers.

Besides the Twilight Saga and The Host, there are still some works that you can find soon in the bookstores. They are Midnight Sun, The Soul, and The Seeker.

Twilight’s Stephenie Meyer Biography Graphic Novel in Stores Wednesday

Days before the curtain rises on the latest film adaptation of the popular Twilight saga novels, a biography comic featuring author Stephenie Meyer will be available at bookstores, comic shops and online venues this Wednesday, according to Bluewater Productions.

Vancouver, WA (PRWEB) November 9, 2009 — Female Force: Stephenie Meyer, scheduled for release on November 11th, provides readers two options: a standard 22-page version and a double-sized graphic novel collector’s edition that contains a variety of extras.

“We get to turn the tables on Meyers and she becomes the featured protagonist,” said Bluewater’s president Darren Davis. “We examine her rise to popularity, her “Twilight” saga novels, the launching of the successful movie franchise and her future plans. And we use a very recognizable and iconic vampire will to tell her story.”

By now, you’ve likely circled November 20 on your calendar in blood-red ink, sent out your Cullen-themed Evites and completed dozens of time trials to see how long it will take to get to the theater. In short, you’ve been training for the highly anticipated release of “New Moon” like it’s the New York Marathon. But have you given any thought as to how you’ll warm up in the hours before the premiere? We have one suggestion for you.

Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the mega-successful franchise, is rereleasing “Twilight” for a single day — November 19 — right before the sequel’s midnight premiere! That means you can get a “Twilight” twofer: catch an early showing of the original Catherine Hardwicke-directed vampire romance and see its follow-up helmed by Chris Weitz shortly after. That’ll make comparing/contrasting the two a little easier, right?

‘I am not opposed to playing a vampire,’ actress says of possibly reuniting with her ‘Valentine’s Day’ co-star.

Jessica Biel has now entered the “Twilight” universe, as she’s co-starring with Taylor Lautner in the new romantic comedy “Valentine’s Day,” set to hit theaters early next year. So, now that Biel and Lautner have collaborated on the rom-com, could we see the actress set foot in Forks, Washington? She wouldn’t rule it out.

“Well, I’m clearly familiar with the films. I haven’t read the books, but I haven’t seen any of the films yet so I’m not that familiar — I know the idea of what it’s about,” she told MTV News. “I mean, maybe [I'd be in the next 'Twilight' film]. That would be lovely. I am not opposed to playing a vampire.”

Until then, Twi-hards will have to settle for watching Lautner share the screen with Biel in “Valentine’s Day,” where Biel’s character, Kara, doesn’t want anything to do with hearts or love or Cupid. “She really despises Valentine’s Day and she always has an I Hate Valentine’s Day Party. And all of her friends usually come and it’s a big blowout and it’s super fun and this year nobody’s RSVP’d and she’s a wreck about it,” she explained.

But despite Kara’s plans not working out, she may find a little love after all. “That’s her experience on this particular Valentine’s Day, and how she goes through her day and maybe finds some possible love at the end of the movie,” she teased. “Perhaps at the end there might be a little possibility of something.”

Twilight joins Twitter to help get fans’ hearts racing for ‘New Moon’

Don’t get too excited: We doubt Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson themselves will be tweeting on the new Twilight Twitter feed.

Fans of “Twilight” and its hotly anticipated sequel “New Moon” have new cause to be all atwitter.

The girl-meets-vampire franchise of young adult novels – and movies – joined the social networking site Twitter Monday, with an introductory tweet at twitter.com/twilight from director Chris Weitz, who’s calling the shots on “New Moon,” in theaters on Nov. 20.

“This is my first ever tweet so please be gentle with me,” Weitz Tweeted.

Follow-up tweets announced that “The final run time of The Twilight Saga: New Moon is 2 hours and ten minutes!” and “Due to overwhelming demand, The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack is being released this Friday!”

In just over 27 hours, Twilight had 50,005 followers - and counting.
