The film’s director David Slade is tirelessly at work finishing up the editing on the third installment in the Twilight saga. But he did take a quick second to send a tweet about the status of the wolves in the next movie. Slade’s tweet said: “Wolf reviews today, looking better and better. The Eclipse story and the way we approached the film calls for a much more realistic approach.” So we’re guessing that Slade is referring to toning down the computer graphics that a lot of people thought were overdone with the wolves in New Moon. The fight scenes are stepped up in Eclipse, so a more realistic point of view, as far as the wolves are concerned, completely makes sense. This is just one small tidbit of into on Eclipse. FORKS, Wash. — A new restaurant set to open next year in Washington state will be called Volterra after a city in the popular Twilight vampire novels, which are set in the town of Forks.
Owners Annette and Tim Root told The Peninsula Daily News it will be a family restaurant, and they have applied for a liquor license.
Forks already has the Twilight Lounge that features concerts and other events for fans.
The Twilight books and movies have brought vampire tourism to the remote former logging town on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula.
The Chamber of Commerce says thousands of visitors come asking questions, such as whether it’s safe to go camping with the vampire problems in the area.

By now, you’ve likely circled November 20 on your calendar in blood-red ink, sent out your Cullen-themed Evites and completed dozens of time trials to see how long it will take to get to the theater. In short, you’ve been training for the highly anticipated release of “New Moon” like it’s the New York Marathon. But have you given any thought as to how you’ll warm up in the hours before the premiere? We have one suggestion for you.
Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the mega-successful franchise, is rereleasing “Twilight” for a single day — November 19 — right before the sequel’s midnight premiere! That means you can get a “Twilight” twofer: catch an early showing of the original Catherine Hardwicke-directed vampire romance and see its follow-up helmed by Chris Weitz shortly after. That’ll make comparing/contrasting the two a little easier, right?

According to the L.A. Times, some theaters may even charge a reduced rate for the “Twilight” tickets. Summit is still in talks with theater operators to see how many screens they can finagle for the first flick, so keep eyeing Fandango for tickets in your area.
The former child model insists that fans are smitten with his Twilight character, not him.
“I don’t take any of it seriously,” he said. The girls scream out for Edward Cullen, not Robert. And I still can’t get a date.”
There have been rumours linking Pattinson with co-star Kristen Stewart and other young beauties. But the actor denies the claims, laughing: “There’s not a single true story written about me. I never do anything.”
In an interview, Pattinson admitted he took Valium to calm his nerves before an audition.
He said he feared he would not land the role in Twilight, having missed out on a part in the American television vampire series True Blood, now showing on Channel Four.
“I auditioned for the TV series and didn’t get it. I didn’t have high hopes of getting the role of Edward Cullen either,” he said.
The prospect of his Twilight audition sent him rushing for the medicine cabinet for a tranqulilizer to calm his nerves.
“I took a quarter of a Valium for the first time – and it worked. But when I tried another Valium before another audition, it backfired and I passed out,” the actor told The Sun.
Twilight took £240 million at the box office worldwide after hitting screens last November and the sequel New Moon premieres this month.
Since landing the role of a lifetime, Pattinson has been catapulted into superstardom. Last year, he won a string of accolades, including Rolling Stone magazine’s hottest actor and Entertainment Tonight’s Top Hunk.
Pattinson is now filming the third part of the Twlight saga, Eclipse, which comes out next summer.

Donna Shockley watched “Twilight” 108 times. Lori Wright watched it 99 times and later installed a 10-by-20-foot outdoor screen in her back yard so she could host monthly DVD parties.
It’s amazing what impact a little vampire novel-turned-big-screen-flick can have.
“I would never have guessed how my life would change after being exposed to Edward and ‘Twilight’ on that very first viewing,” Shockley said.
Initially, the middle-age woman thought the movie was typical teenage fare and went to see it only after coaxing from her daughter.
“But, from the moment that Edward told Bella … he was no longer able to stay away from her, I was no longer able to stay away from ‘Twilight.’”
Although “Twilight” draws folks in with romance, the innocence of star-crossed lovers and an imminent sense of danger, it’s much more than that for these women. They have gained a new perspective when dealing with the worries of the world.
“The biggest impact it’s had on me is making me feel young again,” Shockley said. “I’ve learned to relax and have fun like I did in my 20s. I’m no longer caught up in the rat race and under that stress cloud that tends to happen when you get older.”
“The movie provides a tension release and takes you back to a time where you didn’t have to think and worry about so many things.”
Wright’s experience was much the same.
The “All Things Twilight” expo is among the highlights at the Food and New Product Show this weekend. In addition to “Twilight” memorabilia, attendees can meet an Edward Cullen look-alike, while Borders and Hot Topic will show off their newest “Twilight/New Moon” products.
For the arts-and-crafts lover, a “Made in Hawaii” section features art, jewelry, woodwork and clothing from local artists. Another highlight is the “Taste of the Pacific,” which includes more than 50 food vendors including Mom’s Soul Food, Thelma’s Filipino Food, Harbor Court Bistro and the Cottage Fudge.
After seeing the movie, both women ventured into Hot Topic and began buying an array of “Twilight” merchandise.
“This was the beginning of a feeding frenzy that still hasn’t subsided,” Shockley quipped. The women’s collections include jewelry, clothing, books, figurines, blankets and pillows, posters, umbrellas, baseball card sets, purses, photographs and handmade cards. And to top it all off, Shockley is now known around town as the “Twilight Lady,” thanks to an exquisitely detailed car.
Wright and Shockley originally met at Mililani High School, where Wright was planning a midnight showing of “Twilight” for a Project Graduation fundraiser.
“We learned about each other’s addictions and began going to the movie regularly,” Wright said.
“Our friendship grew huge, as no one else truly understood our addiction and need,” added Shockley.
She described her friend as the “information highway,” since Wright could always be found in front of a computer, keeping up with the latest “Twilight” news. Shockley, who travels a lot for work, labeled herself the “supplier” who finds all the merchandise for their collections.
“eBay loves us,” she said.
After extensive trips to theaters, the big-screen buddies met other avid fans.
“We made quite a few friends, young and old,” Shockley said. “The eldest regular was an 83-year-old woman.
“Many of us got together to watch the movie and vent our ‘Twilight’ obsessions.”
Wright added that “the phenomenon keeps growing, enticing more people every day from all over the world,” and that “Twi-hards (die-hard fans of ‘Twilight’) know no boundaries, ages, cultures, races or genders.” It was that local fan base, comprising fans from ages 5 to 83 years old, that led her to establish a local fan club.
For Shockley it’s created a broader friendship base.
“It’s been a really positive experience for me,” she said. “It’s opened a whole new world since I started dressing in ‘Twilight’ clothes and driving around in my car.
“People are always stopping me and taking pictures. I’ve made a lot of friends and feel well loved right now.”
Wright’s fascination began innocently enough. After purchasing the Stephanie Meyers books for her daughter, she read them herself.
“(That’s when) my addiction began,” she said. “My love for life and the existence that Stephanie Meyers created was now to become a part of my daily routine.”
Wright’s entire family has caught the “Twilight” bug, too.
“We designed a ‘Twilight’ bedroom for my daughter, and when the DVD was going to be released, my husband and son built an outdoor screen to give us another chance to see the movie on the big screen,” Wright said.
Memorabilia decorate their entire house and has even begun to creep onto the lanai. Of them all, Wright’s most prized possession is a handmade jewelry box with a picture of Edward playing piano.
“In the movie, Edward didn’t play for a long time because his life didn’t have meaning,” she said. “But when he met Bella, he started playing again.”
Despite having read the books and seen the movies multiple times, Shockley and Wright continue to search for the deeper messages they have to offer.
“Stephanie Meyers has inspired many to better themselves … not only to reach beyond the exterior of a person, but to … accept them as they really are and see how we are all the same through our experiences with ‘Twilight,’” Wright said.
“This saga has changed my life forever. … My husband and I feel like teenagers again,” Shockley said. “As the movie states, nothing will be the same … and for me it never will be.
“I’ve been bitten. Bad.”

“I don’t even know if I want to be an actor that long”. I don’t even know how to be someone else…if I start doing lame work, I’m not going to stick around and do it.” said Pattinson.
He had also spoke about acting last month with AnOther Man magazine saying that, “I don’t want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don’t find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker.”
Pattinson’s latest project and ‘Twilight’ sequel ‘New Moon’ is due out November 20th.
Taylor Lautner photos grace the new issue of GQ, and Taylor Lautner fans are going to love these photos. The photos are of course a move to get Taylor Lautner and his upcoming film out into the public eye even more than before. Taylor Lautner will be appearing in the new Twilight film New Moon, and serves as one of the stars of the new picture He also appeared in the first movie, but his role was much smaller than it will soon become.
Taylor Lautner has come on to the scene very quickly, and though he is only 17-years-old, he has a huge fan following already. Lautner will also be appearing in a new Valentine’s Day movie in the near future, so that should make his stock in the industry go up even more than it current has been climbing. Fans of Taylor Lautner will be very happy with this new issue of GQ Magazine and it definitely shows off that Lautner has been working out hard to prepare for his film roles.
