News broke earlier today that a company by the name of BrainJunk Studios is going to produce a PC based Twilight video game. Although it has been widely reported that the game will be in the popular MMO style, it clearly states on the game’s website that at this point, that is strictly rumor. The game, however, will allow players to choose different character classes such as human, werewolf, and of course, vampire. So we’re not sure what to think about that.
Players will start the game based out of either Edward’s house, or Charlie’s house, both of which will be able to be decorated with various items that are found 0r traded within the game. Players will also be able to find and collect things like journals, clothes, and jewelry.
The official website for the Twilight video game is still a little low on details, but one quote taken from the “about” pages sums up the game nicely:
“…will allow players to immerse themselves into a deeper form of storytelling and adventure, gaining a deeper understanding of the Twilight Saga through your explorations and discoveries…”
Brandon Gardner, partial owner of BrainJunk Studios, says that a workable prototype of the game will be revealed on November 20th, 2009, which is the same day that the highly anticipated Twilight “New Moon” movie hits theaters.
Good luck to Brandon and his team – this game will surely capture the interest of Twilight fans around the world, and if the game is any good, this will be their treasure at the end of the rainbow.
